Important policies and guidelines for your visit to Amari Head Spa.

Welcome to Amari Head Spa. By booking an appointment with us, you agree to the following terms and conditions.
Booking & Cancellation
- 24-hour cancellation notice is required. Cancellations made with less than 24 hours notice may be subject to a 50% cancellation fee.
- No-shows will be charged the full treatment price.
- Rescheduling is free of charge when done with at least 24 hours notice.
- Booking confirmation will be sent via email or SMS. Please ensure your contact details are correct.
- We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule due to unforeseen circumstances.
Arrival & Timing
- Please arrive 5–10 minutes before your appointment.
- Late arrivals may result in shortened treatment time. Full payment will still be required.
- If you are running late, please call us on 07442 397456.
- Arrivals more than 15 minutes late may be treated as a no-show.
- We recommend avoiding heavy meals immediately before your treatment.
Payment
- Payment is due at the time of service. We accept card (Visa, Mastercard, Amex) and cash.
- Gift vouchers must be presented at the time of your appointment. Non-refundable and cannot be redeemed for cash.
- Vouchers are valid for 12 months from purchase unless otherwise stated.
- Prices are subject to change without prior notice.
- Gratuities are appreciated but never expected.
Health & Safety
- Inform us of allergies or health conditions before your treatment.
- Patch tests may be required for certain treatments.
- We reserve the right to refuse or modify a service if we believe it may be harmful.
- Treatments are not suitable for clients with active scalp infections, open wounds, severe sunburn or certain medical conditions.
- If you are pregnant or nursing, please inform us at booking.
- All equipment is sanitised between clients.
Your Experience
- All treatments include a rough dry (towel and gentle blow dry).
- We offer vegan and hypoallergenic product options.
- Your privacy and comfort are our priority.
- We welcome feedback about your experience.
- Photography is permitted with prior permission and consideration for other clients.
Privacy Policy
- What we collect. When you use our contact form we collect your name, email address, and (if you provide it) phone number, chosen treatment and message. When you sign up to our newsletter we collect your name and email address. When you submit a review via one of our review invitations we collect your name and your review text, rating and any photos you choose to include.
- Why we collect it. To respond to your enquiry, to send the newsletter updates you've asked to receive, and to display genuine customer reviews on this site. We do not sell your data or share it with third parties for their own marketing.
- Booking with Fresha. All bookings, payments and appointment reminders are handled by our booking partner, Fresha, not by this website directly. When you click "Book Now" you leave our site and book on Fresha, under Fresha's own privacy policy.
- Spam protection. Our contact form uses Google reCAPTCHA to reduce spam and automated abuse. This means Google may process technical data (such as your IP address) when you submit the form — see Google's own privacy policy for details.
- Analytics. We use simple, first-party analytics hosted on our own website to understand which pages are useful (for example, pages viewed and general device type). We do not use Google Analytics or third-party advertising trackers, and IP addresses are stored in hashed (not readable) form.
- How long we keep it. We keep enquiries and review submissions for as long as reasonably needed to respond to you and for our business records, and newsletter details until you unsubscribe.
- Your rights. You can ask us what personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, or withdraw consent to marketing emails at any time, by contacting us at info@amariheadspa.co.uk or 07442 397456.
- This is a plain-English summary of how this website handles personal data, not formal legal advice. If you have a specific data protection question, please contact us directly.
Cookie Policy
- Strictly necessary. A small session cookie is used to keep the contact form's spam protection working correctly. Without it, the form may not submit.
- Site analytics. A first-party identifier is used by our own on-site analytics to recognise repeat visits during a session. It is not shared with advertisers and is not used for cross-site tracking.
- Third-party features. Our Contact page embeds Google Maps, and our contact form uses Google reCAPTCHA and Google Fonts. Loading these features may set cookies from Google, governed by Google's own cookie and privacy policies, not ours.
- We do not use advertising or social-media tracking cookies.
- You can block or delete cookies at any time via your browser settings. Blocking essential cookies may stop parts of the site — such as the contact form — from working properly.
